Every so often you have a project that sort of acts as a fitting milestone in your career. For a bunch of us at WBR it was and is Mission Metallica. The highest trafficked, most ambitious site we’ve ever done by far. Almost four hours of video, hundreds of thousands of users and some temperamental servers (which we ended up fixing) and here we are. Biggest release I’ve ever been a part of, and that is cool.
People say the record business is over. It’s not, its just really weird and different and a lot more work.
More work means more fun and more opportunity. More opportunity means more fun with technology.
More fun with technology makes me happy.
And its only September. Roll on the holidays.

Agreed, lots of lost sleep but it is sweet to see it all humming away and connecting fans to the artists. I also agree that the music business is transforming, if companies in this industry do not evolve they will waste away while forward thinking companies push into new mediums and technologies to connect consumers with art that they can integrate into their connected world.

Cheers, from Portland:)
