What you really need is a great logo, 10 billion business cards, and just as many awesome parties to attend and whore yourself out at. Slap up a coming soon page and leave it there for a year until you're famous enough to fund some other engineer to build your awesome idea for you. At least, that's how good scenester businesses seem to be run. I’m trying to be more of a scenester because it seems that people who just sit at home and engineer brilliant code never become rich or famous. Mindshare reminded me of small scale TED Talks (ted.com) but with question and answer periods. Social Media Camp had a panel of Social Media Expert that asked each other questions back and forth and then took questions from the audience. But maybe what would be better is some sort of thing where a workshop is involved instead of just information being spread?
