At least someone at a major label looks like they know what they’re doing. Maybe WMG will be the major survivor after all. Most majors have no clue as to what’s going on on the web. They’re still stuck in the last century.Sony has no clue, BMG would be dead meat without American Idol and Alicia Keys, UMG is stuck on HIP-HOP( a dying brand), and EMI has it’s head up it’s ass.I told one A&R VP just to “Google” me and he could hear what my small label does, and he needed instructions! Where do they get these people from?
