Echoing Boris: OpenSocial API’s + Drupal are going to equal some might interesting distributed functionality that can get rolled into sites that don’t necessarily have a solid platform API. Think about it this way: if Drupal integrated OpenSocial containers, we could leverage applications on our Drupal sites that also work across social network platforms. They could bind to each other, providing a fan an experience where ever they happened to be that was consistent. Think of what this does to e-commerce.

Because of three site launches and my need to go to NYC this week, I will not be at Digital Hollywood. However, I know many are in town for it, so if you are, hit me up if there is any party or something, or if you want to chat.
Yeah, so this explains why the naysayers on Leopard should shut the hell up a bit. I can’t wait for the influx of new 0.X software releases.

Why November 6? Because that is the date that Pixar’s latest magnum opus hits the Blu-Ray aisle at your local Best Buy. I venture that we’ll see HD movie purchase on AppleTV on that date (its a known fact that Apple has been “ingesting” HD movies into the store for a while), as well as iTunes 8.
Why iTunes 8 now? Its the only .app in the mac suite that doesn’t match the visuals in Leopard. Just go to the preferences for it to see.
So November 6, that’s what I’m taking bets on.
