BBC NEWS | Technology | Anger over DRM-free iTunes tracks: psychological DRM people. And it appears its working. I for one have no problem with it. Personalized files = I psychologically covet them more meaning I’m less likely to put on P2P and my favorite artists (and by proxy because of where I work, myself) get paid. I in fact think that personalized video is a good way to go too, with Kyron or watermarks.

They could have just put some random unique string in rather than personal identification information, I’m nore concerned that the BBC seem to think that 99 cents is the same as 79 pence, by my reckoning current echange rates make it 50p. The British are being ripped off by almost 30p per track.
