Warner Bros. to Sell Movies and TV Shows on Internet - New York Times: with rumors that Apple Leopard (OSX 10.5) will include BitTorrent at the base level, the news that Warners is going to be distributing high bandwidth content through BitTorrent seems logical. I think that what we’ll see happening in the near future is that individual bandwidth will become a tradable commodity for the consumer, to the point where they can get rewarded for contributions to an overall bandwidth pool. Imagine if your share ratio effected discounts you got through the Time Warner Home Video store? Imagine if your share ratio on a future BitTorrent enabled iTunes translated into markable discounts?
