I’m extremely busy this month, but I have a few clients that might be interested. I’m posting a link to this at http://www.sldevelopers.com, and I’m emailing a couple people.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact me!

There’s a good list there. In particular bedazzled and avalon are probably the top two tier professional groups. electric sheep is good as well.

I saw this post linked from clickableculture.com, and although I am not a serious SL developer, seeing as per your profile your job is to find “cool things” to do with technology I thought you might be interested in what we do.
My band, robots.txt, has been doing live audio webcasts for the last 5 years. In January, we have taken up residence in Second Life and from here on out, this will be our main venue for live shows. There is a lot of folk and acoustic music in SL, ironic seeing how cutting edge the tech is, but as far as I know, we are the only Techno band currently gigging in SL. I certainly haven’t run accross and rock bands, but the potential is there.
Our first show in January really felt like a live show, we got great realtime feedback from the crowd. My band mate and I were both in world in avatar form, sending a live stream from our studio onto my land in SL.
So, if you get this post in time, and you want to experience a live music show in Second Life, stop on by the MoonBase. We will be playing our next show tomorrow evening from 6 to 10 SL time.
