An anecdote for stupidity
So Loic Le Meur, Michael Arrington and Robert Scoble are now fighting or “discussing” or rather “gaming techmeme” in a discussion about Twitter authority.
Who gives a flying fuck?
Honestly. Raise your hand here if you woke up today thinking “what are the overinflated wags thinking about today?”
Not me.
Here’s what I woke up thinking about, in Twitter search form, without authority.
This, this or this (since we’re looking to buy a new house).
We’re at the beginning of what will be a very challenging year for everyone on all fronts. I’m spending these next seven days of vacation gearing up for what I have a feeling will be a marathon.
With support from those like us however, the marathon can be a relay, and that is much easier to run. Instead, we have people puffing chests, grooming plumage and strutting around with their dicks out and rulers in hand.
(No women, notice that? One of the most awesome women in tech was profiled in the New York Times today, but that isn’t top of techmeme now is it.)
Stop and lets work together on something productive, because this is not it.
Thanks for this Ethan.
I try to keep up on what’s going on in the world o’ web but those 3’s rants don’t really add much.
Always enjoy your insights
