- #Pretty much sums up my feelings on Android. I fear as well that with the rapid pace of "This is the BEST ANDROID PHONE ON THE MARKET" -- seemingly every three weeks -- we are nearly to the point where one company (say HTC) will cause an Osborne Effect on another manufacturer (say, Motorola or Samsung). It is only in each companies best interest to have the worlds best Android phone (WBAP for short). I fear its about to get nasty.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic. The desire to cram the word ‘Live’ into the name of everything – in a situation where the word Live has no meaning, no relevance and adds nothing to understanding. Just that someone came up with this idea that brand coherence requires that the same words are used across many products. The answer is that Microsoft doesn’t understand what its products are for either. Mind you, Google aren’t much better – take a look at ‘Google Docs and Spreadsheets’. Only its mother could love it.
